Fish Curry Masala

A North Indian fish curry has a specific character. Rich tomato onion gravy, a spice base that is bold enough to hold its own but does not overpower the fish. Realm's Fish Curry Masala is built for exactly that.

Works with rohu, catla, pomfret, any firm white fish.

Recipe tip: Marinate fish pieces in turmeric and salt for 15 minutes. Shallow fry till golden and set aside. In the same pan, cook onions till golden, add ginger garlic paste, chopped tomatoes and Realm Fish Curry Masala. Cook till oil separates, add water, bring to a boil and slide the fish in gently. Simmer for 8 minutes. Serve with steamed rice.
